Poetic Romance creates thoughtfully designed gifts and keepsakes intended to celebrate love, connection and meaningful memories.

We take care to ensure that product descriptions, images and information presented on our website are accurate.

Handmade craftsmanship

Each Keepsake Collection box is carefully made by hand, making every piece subtly unique.

Due to the handmade nature of our boxes, slight variations in texture, colour, finish and construction may occur. These natural differences are part of the character of a handcrafted product and do not necessarily indicate a manufacturing defect.

We take care to ensure every collection meets our quality standards.

These variations do not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including where a product is faulty, damaged, does not match its description or fails to meet applicable consumer guarantees.

We reserve the right to update product descriptions, specifications and availability at any time, subject to applicable law.

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD), unless otherwise stated.

Any applicable taxes will be included in or disclosed alongside the displayed prices as required by law.

Shipping costs, where applicable, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

Payments are securely processed through Shopify and its supported payment providers.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

When you place an order through our website, you will receive an email acknowledging your purchase.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

• A product is unavailable.
• A genuine pricing or product information error has occurred.
• Payment cannot be authorised.
• We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
• We are otherwise unable to fulfil the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will provide a refund for the cancelled items, including any applicable shipping charges.

We may contact you if additional information is required to process your order.

We currently offer delivery to eligible Australian addresses.

Orders are prepared and dispatched in accordance with the processing times displayed on our website.

Our usual dispatch timeframe is approximately 1–2 business days, unless otherwise stated.

Dispatch timeframes are estimates and may be affected by public holidays, high order volumes, product availability or unforeseen circumstances.

Delivery timeframes vary depending on the shipping destination and carrier.

Any estimated delivery dates provided at checkout or in shipping communications are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Once your order has been dispatched, you may receive tracking information where available.

We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, but this does not affect any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law, including where goods are not delivered within a reasonable time.

Please ensure your delivery details are accurate when placing an order.

If you notice an error in your shipping information, contact us as soon as possible at hello@poeticromance.com. We will do our best to assist, although changes may not be possible once an order has been dispatched.

Change-of-mind returns

We do not generally offer returns or refunds for change of mind, including where you have selected the wrong product or no longer require the item.

This policy does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect products

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us at hello@poeticromance.com.

Where possible, include your order number, a description of the issue and photographs to help us assess the matter.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

If a product has a major failure, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement. For a failure that is not major, we may be entitled to provide a remedy within a reasonable time, as permitted by law.

You may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage in circumstances covered by Australian Consumer Law.

We will assess and resolve concerns in accordance with your statutory rights.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request before the order has been processed or dispatched.

Once an order has been prepared or dispatched, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

Our products may be purchased as gifts and delivered directly to recipients.

When placing a gift order, you are responsible for providing accurate recipient and delivery information and ensuring you have an appropriate basis for sharing the recipient’s personal information with us.

Where gift messages or other personalised information are submitted, please ensure the content is appropriate and does not infringe the rights of others.
